Luna Shadows Makes “Waves” With New Remix Package

The Naked and Famous keyboardist’s new single includes re-rubs from EDM tastemakers RAC and Felix Cartal.

In 2018, singer/songwriter and keyboardist Luna Shadows joined up with New Zealand indie electronic group The Naked and Famous as they prepared to record their fourth studio album, but while the album has been bubbling, the LA artist has been making moves of her own, releasing three powerful singles. The latest, “Waves,” is a dance pop summer anthem that comes with b-side remixes from dance producers RAC, Felix Cartal, and of course the Naked and Famous. The single is actually a re-release, having already attained over 35 million streams independently. Recently signed to +1 Records, Luna chose to revisit the popular single with a star-studded remix package to celebrate the occasion.

You can watch the video for “Waves” and check out the remixes here. If you like what you hear, check out Golden State’s “Stay Golden” Spotify playlist for more handpicked California music selections.
